Chances are yes! Because you want expierence, and what is out there, well, "they" don't want to pay you for what you know! The sad fact: When you start working for peanuts, you end up with peanut butter. I want to change all that. Yes I am furious with the industry professionals, who are not only selling themselves short, but affect each one of us. No matter how many certifications you get, it comes back to experience.

Think on these things. Are you overworked? Do you have high stress? Do you love your profession, (not necessarily the j-o-b)? I expect you can at least answer yes to loving your profession. Otherwise, why would you be in this field anyway?
